SmackDown from MSG last week was supposedly rumored to be a mega event all around. It lived up to the hype and delivered matching fans’ expectations with The Bloodline saga being continued. Roman Reigns and Co. delivered their majestic performances which entertained everyone throughout. Though SmackDown lived up to the hype, the much-awaited return of Carlito was nowhere to be seen. According to many sources, Carlito was set to make his return at the event but the Caribbean Cool didn’t show up at the event.
According to PWinsider, Carlito was set to make his return last week on SmackDown. His return was canceled as many officials thought it would be overshadowed. The Bloodline segment occupied most of the part of SmackDown and officials didn’t want to sideline the comeback of former Intercontinental champion just like that.
When asked about his absence, one of the WWE sources answered that his return “would have been lost in the wake of the Bloodline”. Henceforth his return was postponed to a later date to have more effect on the audience.
