Sheamus is one of the most underrated superstars on the WWE roster. Sheamus has currently been showcased very strongly. But in this week’s episode of SmackDown, Sheamus with his teammate Holland fought the likes of Pretty Deadly. He sadly lost the match due to some cheating tactics by the team Pretty Deadly. Sheamus then unleashes his fury after his controversial loss on Twitter and express his annoyance.
Sheamus is the most hard-working wrestler on the WWE roster. The catholic warrior has lots of accolades. He has held the WWE Championship title, WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the United States Championship title, and Tag Team Championship titles in a long and illustrious career. Sheamus is currently seen in a tag team including Ridge Holland and Butch known as Brawling Brutes.
In this week’s episode of SmackDown, Brawling Brutes which consisted of Sheamus and Holland took on the likes of Pretty Deadly. Both the teams had an awesome match. At the end of the match, Elton Prince of Pretty Deadly exposed the turnbuckle during the match. And then Prince sent Ridge crashing into the exposed turnbuckle. He hit his signature move off the top rope for the win.
This loss came as a shock to many fans as a veteran Sheamus got defeated by the newly drafted Pretty Deadly. Sheamus is noticeably unhappy with his current creative direction. He also has been in a losing strike since his encounter with the Ring General Gunther. Taking his frustration on Twitter, Sheamus wrote ‘Pretty Douchey’ expressing his anger and frustration.
Sheamus to challenge Austin Theory for United States Title
The reign of Austin Theory as a United States champion has been nothing short of boring and lackluster. The title was defended very few times and the storyline surrounding it to was predictable and repetitive. The biggest party of the Summer is arriving on August 5, in Detroit. So there is a lot of anticipation related to the match cards and The United States Championship title.
Our prediction states that Sheamus might challenge Theory for a title match at SummerSlam. Also, expect LA Knight to interfere in the storyline and thrash him into the match. Therefore, expect a triple-threat match between Sheamus, LA Knight, and Austin Theory for the United States Championship at SummerSlam.
