Edge may have wrestled his very last match in WWE on SmackDown against Sheamus. With so many rumors going on, Dutch Mantell also took the opportunity to talk about the future of Edge.
Edge is one of the most decorated wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling and still looks gold. He has dominated the sports entertainment industry for more than two decades and looks to add more to his legacy. Each year, Edge looks to outwork himself and provide his best version to his fans. Since his surprising return in 2020, Edge has shown that he still has what it takes to be a top WWE superstar. His rivalries with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor show he can still match with the stars of this era. Since the attitude Era, Edge has shown his consistency and match-drawing ability in the ring. As he completed his 25 years in WWE, it may be the ideal time for him to jump ship and move to AEW. Dutch Mantell provided his opinion on the future of Edge and how he has evolved during all these years.
Dutch Mantell thinks Edge should not Leave WWE
During his podcast, Storytime with Dutch Mantell, Mantell talked about the possible exit of Edge from WWE. He further said that it really can happen and Edge might move to AEW shortly. Mantell also stated how Tony Khan would love to buy Edge to just assert dominance showing that he can buy top stars. Though Mantell agreed with the rumors, he also stated that WWE made Edge a megastar. He further stated that WWE doesn’t care as they will be making huge amounts of money whatsoever.
