This week’s Wednesday Night NXT had some pretty good bouts and matches scheduled for the show. Creed Brothers fought with The Dayd in a Loser Leaves match. Perez and Blair also wrestled in a very brutal match. But the main surprise came when the NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes challenged Finn Balor and The Judgment Day for a confrontation at NXT. Finn Balor in a backstage video to everyone’s surprise went on and accepts Carmelo’s invite to NXT.
The rivalry between Carmelo Hayes and The Judgment Day member Finn Balor is heating up as Hayes challenged the leader of the group for a confrontation at NXT. This challenge came after Judgment Day member Rhea Ripley warned Carmelo not to interfere in The Judgment Day business. Carmelo is good friends with Seth Rollins and helped Rollins from Balor on NXT.
The feud between the two is a beautiful nature of storytelling. Finn Balor and Carmelo had once faced each other on an episode of RAW, which Balor won. Carmelo challenging Judgment Day also makes perfect sense due to his loss to Finn at RAW. And Finn Balor accepts Carmelo’s invite because it also makes Balor and The Judgment Day look good and dominating. Although there are rifts growing between fellow Judgement Day member Finn and Priest. It would also be entertaining to watch how they handle their prior differences.
Whatever the case be, NXT fans are happy to see Judgment Day arriving at NXT. Fans also took to Twitter to thank NXT Creative Head Shawn Michaels for booking this angle. Some thanked Heart Break Kid for his booking while some gave the sign of approval. After Triple H suffered a Cardiac arrest in 2022, he was replaced by Shawn Michaels as the head of creative in NXT. Michaels from that time onwards has been handling NXT and its booking.
Why Judgment Day currently is the best Faction in WWE Roster?
Judgment Day is one of the most dominating factions of the PG era. But after the dissolution of Bloodline, Judgment Day becomes the most influential faction in the WWE roster. The faction includes the likes of Finn Balor, Damien Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio. All of them are either top stars or breakout stars.
Finn Balor is a multi-time champion and the inaugural Universal Champion and also challenged Rollins for the Heavyweight Championship belt recently. Rhea Ripley is a Women’s World Heavyweight Champion and is been dominating the women’s roster for a time now. Damien Priest is the current Mister Money in The Bank and also had an iconic rivalry with the likes of Bad Bunny. And at last Dominik Mysterio who just had a match with Cody Rhodes and is going to challenge Rollins for the championship.
Their theme music also denotes their dark theme. And their promos are also pretty solid. All the superstars are pretty over with the fans, Dominik being the most hated wrestler of the current time. This stat and the faction’s current dominance clearly tell us why Judgment Day is so far the best faction in today’s era.
