Fans love Judgement Day and this was proven again this week as everyone loved their involvement on NXT. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio won the North American title and NXT saw a huge boost in their ratings.
Judgement Day is a dominant faction all around WWE and is engaging in some really good storylines. The faction itself has been doing well in terms of championships and accolades. With Rhea Ripley being the Women’s Heavyweight champion and Damian Priest having Money in the Bank Briefcase, Sky is the limit for Judgement Day. This week on NXT, they added another title to their arsenal in the form of the NXT North American Championship. Dominik defeated Wes Lee for the title with some help from his stablemates.
With Dominik’s win, Judgement Day now has two titles under their belt along with Rhea’s women’s championship. The win also proved to be good for NXT as it boosted their TV Ratings. According to various sources, NXT had an average viewing audience of 746,000 viewers beating last week’s viewership of 671,000. The match itself had up to 844,000 viewers which is a huge number for NXT. This proves how much people are invested in the faction and how good they are.
Will Judgement Day become all-gold at SummerSlam?
With almost every member of the Judgement Day holding some kind of Prized status, Finn Balor is the sole member with nothing under his belt. At SummerSlam, this might change as Balor has the opportunity to change this fact. Finn would battle his arc rival Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
Both the superstars have been going at it for weeks ultimately setting up this match. The angle involved Money in the Bank holder Damian Priest who will be looking to cash in his briefcase anytime. It remains quite hard to predict who will walk out as champion after SummerSlam. It will be difficult for Seth Rollins to protect that title from Balor as well as Priest. Surprises might await at SummerSlam as we will know whether Judgement Day becomes all gold or not.
