Ronda Rousey undoubtedly is the biggest star of the pro wrestling industry. The former UFC champion has achieved several accolades in her career. But if the rumors are true then there are chances that Ronda Rousey may leave WWE. Yes, You heard it right. Ronda Rousey is leaving WWE after the rumored match with her long-time friend Shayna Baszler.
Ronda Rousey recently was betrayed by her partner Shayna Baszler in Money in the Bank pay-per-view in London. Baszler assaulted Ronda amid their Tag titles match and then went on to leave the ring. As a result, Baszler and Ronda lost their Tag titles. This feud is speculated to continue till Summerslam, where both of them would fight it out inside the ring. But if the rumors are true then Rousey might leave WWE after the speculated match.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Ronda has a hard-out contract. Although the exact date is unknown, it is rumored that the date is way before Wrestlemania. The rumors also suggest that it may end around Summerslam. According To Wrestling Observer Radio, Rousey was expected to end her WWE run with the highly anticipated match against her friend Shayna Baszler. It was always the plan which got delayed numerous times due to several reasons.
This denotes that the Summerslam might be the last time we see Ronda inside the squared circle. It’s also believed that Baddest Woman on the Planet might lose her match to Shayna to reinstate her as a top star in the WWE. So expect their Summerslam match to involve some type of stipulation such as ‘Loser Leaves WWE’, which would make it more exciting to watch.
Is Ronda Rousey going to UFC?
Ronda Rousey is one of the most dominating female wrestlers in WWE. Rousey made her WWE debut in Royal Rumble 2018. She then went on to make her in-ring debut in Wrestlemania against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H with Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in her corner. Rousey then main-evented next years Wrestlemania with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair for the RAW and Smackdown Women’s title in a first-ever all-women’s Wrestlemania main event.
But Rousey started her wrestling career way before 2018. Rousey her wrestling career at UFC where she was unbeaten for some time and won the first-ever Women’s Bantamweight title. She was then defeated by Holy Holm for the title after which she went on hiatus for a year. She returned back to the octagon for a fight with Amanda Nunes, who defeated Rousey within a minute. After this Rousey never returned to the Octagon ring.
But according to rumors Rousey might leave WWE and return to the octagon to fight for the vacant Bantamweight title. The Bantamweight Title was relinquished after the retirement of Amanda Nunes. Thus rumors suggest that Rousey might leave WWE in the month of August and return to UFC for the title.
