Money in The Bank had a lot of shocking moments to cherish. Be it the return of Drew McIntyre or the Appearance of John Cena. Roman got pinned for the first time in three years and Iyo Sky won the Money in The Bank Briefcase. This pay-per-view event had everything but there was one moment that stunned the fans. It was Shayna turning heel on Ronda at the MITB event. In the RAW following the event, Shayna Baszler bashes her Former Tag Team Partner Ronda for her mic skills.
The betrayal of Shayna Baszler at the Money in The Bank pay-per-view was shocking but at the same time seemed very abrupt. It happened when it was least expected, during the Unified Tag Team Championship match. This betrayal also cost Shayna and Ronda their titles as The team of Raquel and Morgan won the match.
In this week of RAW, Rousey went on to ask for an explanation for whatever Shayna did on the Money in The Bank pay-per-view. Shayna did come not as a heel but to everyone’s surprise as a babyface, who talks for the fans. Shayna Baszler bashes Former Tag Team Partner Ronda Rousey and stated that the WWE universe is sick and tired of listening to Ronda on the Microphone.
Baszler also went on to call Rousey an egotistical person, who got everything served in a plate. As opposed to Shayna who had to work her way up to get success. Shayna also criticized Rousey for being too professional and that she does not love the squared circle as she does. This heated argument translated into a brawl and ended with a kick to Rousey’s face.
Rousey is known for her lack of Microphone skills from the start. Many times she forgets or gets nervous during the promo, which used to affect her wrestling character of being a badass.
Shayna Vs Rousey at Summerslam?
The breakup of the team Rousey and Shayna was imminent but now the question remains when will be getting to see both fighting each other. Well, You won’t have to wait much as reports suggest that Shayna and Rousey may square off against each other in the ring on this year’s Summerslam.
The match between the two former martial artists would be very fun to watch. The styles and their background would only enhance the quality of the match. The only problem that might come would be the build-up to the match. There was zero to no buildup before breaking them up. But there seemed a lot of effort in this week’s RAW episode, which gives us a good sign.
While the match between the two is confirmed but there are also rumors that Rousey might leave WWE as her contract is going to expire near Summerslam. There are also rumors that Rousey put Baszler over in her last WWE match. While these are all rumors, Rousey Vs Shayna at Summerslam is a Done Deal.
