Shawn Michaels has been one of the most decorated and charismatic wrestlers in WWE history. Though fans still want to see him inside the ring, it seems that their favorite Shawn Michaels will never wrestle again.
Shawn Michaels is a name that will always pop up whenever someone talks about Charisma and attitude. The Heartbreak Kid has been in WWE for over 3 decades and is no doubt one of the most controversial superstars of all time. Shawn has cemented his legacy with various championship wins and his cocky promo segments. He has always been a wrestler who was larger than life to his fans and supporters. With his unforgettable legacy, fans expect to see him one more time inside the ring to this day.
Although fans would love to see him wrestle again, Shawn Michael is not having any second thoughts regarding never wrestling again.
During a recent interview, Michaels revealed that he has no plans to wrestle again. He added that he has seen himself rise and will now help the younger talents move forward. Shawn Michaels confirmed that he would never wrestle again and will continue to work backstage for WWE NXT.
“No, I absolutely don’t think about that at all anymore. I’ve had my time in the sun. I absolutely enjoyed every bit of it, but I so thoroughly enjoy being able to help them and allow them to have the same opportunities that I had“.
Shawn Michaels appeared on SmackDown last week
While the Heartbreak Kid is spending his time backstage on NXT, he managed to appear on SmackDown last week. Dominik Mysterio was trying to fend off the championship match against Butch backstage on SmackDown. Just when things were looking good for Dom, Shawn Michaels entered the frame. He made the match official and booked it giving it a main event slot.
Shawn wrestled his last match in 2018 against Brothers of Destruction at Crown Jewel. Shawn joined forces with Triple H and battled Kane and Undertaker in the main event.
