Liv Morgan made a record in Money in The Bank at the O2 arena in London. Morgan and Racquel fought the team of Shayna and Ronda for the Unified Tag Team Championship. The match saw Shayna turning on Rousey during the match and costing them the Tag Team titles. Liv Morgan pinned Rousey for the win. Liv Morgan is Ronda’s living Nightmare. She has pinned Ronda Rousey not once, not twice but thrice, being the only wrestler to do so.
Yes, You heard it Right. Morgan is the only wrestler to pin Rousey thrice. Rousey from her initial debut was showcased as a big deal. Rousey got pinned for the first time in the main event of Wrestlemania 35. Ronda Rousey was wrestling the likes of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in the Triple Threat match for the RAW and Smackdown Women’s title in a winner takes all match. This shows how strongly Rousey has been presented on WWE television from the start.
Liv Morgan on the other hand started her career as a member of Suicide Squad and then due to her popularity among fans was pushed into the main event scene. Liv Morgan first pinned Rousey in the Money in The Bank pay-per-view itself. She had won the Money in The Bank Briefcase earlier that night and cashed it on Ronda after her match with Natalya for SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Morgan pinned Rousey for the second time in the Summerslam 2022, where Liv was defending her WWE Smackdown Championship against Rousey. The third pin came on the night of Money in The Bank where Shayna betrayed Ronda and assaulted her. After which Liv and Racquel seized their moment by hitting their finishers. Liv then went on to pin Rousey for not first, not second, but the third time.
Who would be the next challenger for WWE Unified Tag team Titles?
WWE’s Women’s Tag team roster is currently lacking teams as a whole. With only two women’s tag teams in Smackdown that is Damage Control and the team of Alba and Isla Dawn. And two on the RAW brand that is the team of Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green and the team of Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark. This lack of talent definitely affects the booking of the Women’s Title as a whole.
With only four total Tag teams on the main roster, it would be difficult for WWE to book the tag titles. But our prediction suggests that it would be the team of Damage Control to challenge for the tag titles. Damage Control is currently popular with the fans, so it would be wise of WWE to book the heel team of Damage Control against the likes of Liv Morgan and Racquel Rodriguez.
