One-half of the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, Kevin Owens dealt with an injury this week on RAW after being attacked by Judgement Day. The injury, which was seen as an advancement for the storyline is reportedly Legitimate.
Many times in WWE, injuries are shown to sell a feud more realistically adding more depth to the rivalry. Such a case was shown this week on RAW. Dominik Mysterio was involved in a match with Sami Zayn this past week on RAW. Kevin Owens appeared during the title match at ringside but was sent backstage by the officials along with the Judgement Day. The match was fast-paced and hard-hitting throughout while Zayn looked to win the North American Championship in the closing moments. He was distracted by an attack on Kevin Owens which injured him on the ramp. Dominik took advantage and left RAW with the W.
Kevin Owens is reportedly already injured with a rib injury as reported by Dave Meltzer and is suffering from immense pain.
“It’s a fractured rib. So He’s gonna get rest. I don’t know how long, and I don’t know what the status of the tag team title is. I’m sure that that will probably all be addressed in the next couple of days, but it was legit.”
Owens might be out of action for a couple of weeks due to his injury which could affect the Tag titles storyline. Kevin Owens’ most recent appearance came when he wrestled last week against Dominik and Damian Priest. A video showing Zayn dedicating a song to Owens also went viral after last week’s RAW.
Liv Morgan reportedly injured along with Kevin Owens this week on RAW
It seems that Kevin Owens is not the only one suffering from an injury, Liv Morgan is also by his side. Rhea Ripley was seen launching a brutal attack on Morgan this week on RAW. According to many reports, Liv Morgan might have damaged her shoulder heavily during the attack.
