Bianca Belair has recently crossed 400 days as RAW Women’s Champion. She is now officially the longest-reigning WWE RAW Women’s Champion and the longest-reigning Women’s Champion of the modern era.
The record was previously held by Becky Lynch, who held the championship for an accumulated 398 days. And today, Belair has crossed that record as she now becomes the longest-reigning RAW Women’s Champion of all time.
This Saturday at Backlash, the EST of WWE defended her championship against Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL. In a hard-fought match, Bianca Belair emerged victorious and retained her title. Following her win, she woke up this Sunday and proudly announced on Twitter that she is now the longest-reigning RAW Women’s Champion of all time.
And today she has officially reached 400 days as the champ. This is a huge achievement for any woman in WWE. Belair has not only become the longest-reigning RAW Women’s Champion, but the longest-reigning Women’s Champion of the modern era. And in addition to that, she is officially the longest-reigning black world champion in WWE history. It’s truly a huge milestone for the superstar.
What does the future hold for Bianca Belair, following her draft to SmackDown?
As mentioned above, Bianca Belair is the current RAW Women’s Champion. However, she has been drafted to SmackDown this year, like the SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley being drafted to RAW.
While the superstar’s future may be in limbo, this is not the first time that something like this has happened. It happened in 2021 with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, who was drafted to the opposite brands with their respective championships. At the time, the two women simply exchanged championships. While WWE is yet to announce their plans for Belair as the draft goes into effect from tonight, they may opt to do the same for the two women’s champions this year as well.
In that case, her reign as the RAW Women’s Champion would naturally come to an end. However, it would be too soon to predict the situation. Stay tuned to get more updates on Bianca Belair’s future as the RAW Women’s Champion.
