Royal Rumble is one of the biggest WWE tournaments and winning a Royal Rumble match is really a big deal as you have to eliminate some of the best and most badass wrestles of the company, you need to stand out from all the other 29 players.
Every year we’ve seen players like Brock Lesnar, Kane, John Cena, etc. who eliminate most of the guys and become the men’s champion but lately, WWE has started Women’s own Royal Rumble tournament.
Let’s have a look at there, which female wrestles hold the record for most eliminations at Royal Rumble?
Michelle McCool in 2018
2018, the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble, Michelle McCool made history that year by eliminating 5 female wrestles in a Royal Rumble match of that year. Even though she was the top eliminator, she didn’t win the tournament lastest only 20 minutes and Mickie James eliminates her.
Asuka was the winner of that year’s tournament by eliminating Nikki Bella.
Charlotte Flair in 2019 & 2022
Next year in 2019, in the second edition of the Women’s Royal Rumble Charlotte Flair was the one with the most number of eliminations and that is 5 same as the last year’s record by Michelle McCool. The reason why we put her above Michelle is that she reached this number twice, the second time in 2022.
Becky Lynch was the winner that year (2019) by eliminating Charlotte herself.
Rhea Ripley in 2021
Rhea Ripley, who was playing her first-ever Royal Rumble match and sets a record of 7 eliminations in a single Royal Rumble event. That is just insane!! She was also one of the final two wrestlers but later got eliminated by Bianca Belair.
Shayna Baszlere also set a record for eliminating 6 opponents that year which was higher than the previous two but Ripley took all the spotlight that year.
Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszlere in 2020
The first spot is in sharing with the two WWE Divas, Bianca Belair, and Shayna Baszlere with a total of 8 eliminations each. Both the superstars explode the ring with the run of eliminations.
But both of them got eliminated by ‘The Queen’, Charlotte Flair who was also the winner of that year’s event.
This is the highest number of eliminations ever achieved by a Woman at Royal Rumble.
