WWE’s NXT division was televised on 7th March 2023 and I must say a lot of things happened in that event but here we will be discussing an incident that took place at the main event of the NXT Roadblock 2023.
NXT Women’s champion Roxanne Perez was defending her title against Meiko Satomura at Roadblock when she mysteriously collapsed on the ground and officials had to stretch her away from the arena straight to the hospital. Though the match ended in a win for Perez before all that happen, means she is still the NXT women’s champion.
Perez successfully defended her NXT Women’s title against Meiko Satomura last night at Roadblock. Satomura declared her plans clearly a few weeks ago when she challenged Roxanne Perez to a title match at WWE NXT Roadblock. However, both stars had nothing but respect for each other and they maintained that attitude in that match as well.
Now the match was a good one, Satomura, however, had a little advantage for having more experience and that is why she was the dominating one in most parts of the match but that doesn’t mean the champ was taking the match lightly. Even though Satamura had the match domination, Perez was able to convert that into a win for her to retain her WWE NXT Women’s title.
She pushed herself to the limit and worked harder than ever before to defend her title against a lady she regarded as her hero and even come up with a win against her. Her performance was incredibly amazing and overall it was a good match.
But after delivering an awesome performance, Perez collapsed to the ground. The Medical team, Booker T, and even Shawn Michael showed up in order to check on her. She immediately stretched away to the hospital for treatment.
The reason behind her collapse is still unknown however many of us are assuming it to be a heart attack or something like that as it’s the most obvious guess for now but we need to wait until WWE officially announced the cause. strongly agree
