WWE WrestleMania is less than in a month and the wrestling universe is hell excited to watch the biggest wrestling event of the year. Still, before WrestleMania, there should be a good build-up for the event, where the weekly program of WWE comes into the task.
Here we’re covering the last episode of Monday Night Raw, discussing its highlights and giving you a brief insight in case you missed it.
Kevin Owens Vs Solo Sikoa
Monday Night Raw opens with The Bloodline where Paul Hayman discussing with Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa later they fixed a match between Solo Sikoa and Bloodline’s top rival Kevin Owen.
The match started with a fine pace and continued that rhythm until the end of the match, however, Sikoa was the one who was dominating. Sikoa was playing the match like it was very personal to him, well we can’t deny his frustration with what happened.
The match was interrupted by Sami Zayn who helped Owen to get out of that brawl that he was losing badly and offered him a hand of friendship but KO denies it.
Bianca Belair vs Carmella
Carmella came into action yet again after facing Asuka last week on Raw. This time she takes on WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Though the match was a “No Title Match”, still it was pretty intense and for Carmella, it was important because she thought she could have a chance for a title match in WrestleMania, she even put Chelsea Green by her side in the corner.
However, despite of everything The Princess of Staten Island faced a defeat against the Champion.
Logan Paul comes to the Raw
This was the best segment of the night as this match had great potential to build up a solid storyline for WrestleMania 39. So, The Miz was in the ring and welcomed Logan Paul to Monday Night Raw but Rollins didn’t waste a second to interrupt them.
Seth Rollin’s entry gives extra heat to Logan Paul as now the crowd is in support of the Freak. The segment ended up in a match between Rollins vs Paul and The Miz. Now the number game took advantage and Logan Paul and The Miz won the match over Seth Rollins.
Finn Balor vs Johnny Gargano
Another good match of the night between Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor, whose whole team (The Judgement Day) came in support of him. After a quick shoulder tackle, the leader of Judgment Day took possession and used an armbar to take Johnny Wrestling to the ground.
The match was going well until Edge music hits. Rhea Ripley and Damin Priest were busy finding Edge on the ramp which gave time for Edge to sneak in from behind and Knocked out Balor from the top rope hence, Jhonny Gargano won the match despite having the whole Judgment Day on the side.
Nikki Cross Vs Piper Niven
A short and simple revenge match between Nikki Cross and Piper Niven. Last Week, Nikki ended up interrupting Piper’s match against Candice LaRea so now Piper Niven got a chance to take an act of revenge on Cross this time on RAW.
After some punches and slams, Piper Niven delivers a body slam squash which gave her a win over Cross.
John Cena Address WWE Universe
WWE’s one of the most charming superstars, John Cena made his return to Monday Night Raw and he was warmly welcomed by everyone. Now, even before Cena could speak a word, Austin Theory’s music hit. The theory came into the ring and said that he admired him and wanted to offer him a gift and that Gift was a match against him at WrestleMania.
The offer was declined by Cena who said that he is not on that level, he has to earn that spot. Later Theory was seen mocking John Cena for his bald spot, eventually, Austin Theory was successful in setting up a match between John Cena and him as John Cena accepted the challenge after too many slurs
