Ever since Roman Reigns won both the top prizes of the company, every wrestler in WWE has been trying to catch up to him. And every time, Reigns has prevailed by hook or by crook. And apparently his former Shield brother, Seth Rollins doesn’t think too highly of him.
During his 3-year reign of terror, Reigns has overcome any and every obstacle. Despite being a part-timer, Roman Reigns has never been defeated in his 3-year reign. He even faced Seth Rollins at last year’s Royal Rumble, where Reigns choked out Rollins after a disqualification loss. After that, The Visionary has not gotten a title rematch. And after Reigns being drafted to SmackDown, RAW has been left without a championship.
After the debut of the World Heavyweight Championship, Rollins is not set to face AJ Styles at Night of Champions to crown a new champion for the red brand. On the recent episodes of RAW, Seth Rollins has reflected on his relationship with Roman Reigns. He called Reigns selfish and said that he wants to become the World Heavyweight champion so people can forget about Roman Reigns.
Rollins further said that although he will always love Reigns, he doesn’t like him. He doesn’t respect the man Reigns has now become. According to Rollins, ever since becoming the Tribal Chief, Reigns has been poisoned by his ego. So much so that he has been “taking away” opportunities from everyone else. And that is what makes him selfish.
Seth Rollins is the likely winner of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament
Over the past few years, Seth Rollins has had outstanding matches with the likes of Edge, Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, etc. This has led fans to root for him to win the World Heavyweight Championship in his match at Night of Champions.
While AJ Styles is also a fan favorite, Seth Rollins is heavily favored by fans to win the championship. Rollins is undoubtedly one of the best wrestlers in the world of professional wrestling. He is also a part of RAW, while Styles is on SmackDown. This fact alone gives Rollins the edge, and is the likely winner of the brand. It would make little to no sense having Styles move over to the red brand and leave his stable, The OC behind in the blue brand.
But what do you think? Who deserves to win the World Heavyweight Championship? Stay tuned to find out who wins on this Saturday at Night of Champions.
