One of the most talked about stories of the current WWE era is the retirement of Vince McMahon and his involvement in Creative. But to everyone’s surprise, Raw Superstar Ricochet had upright confirmed the involvement of Vince McMahon in creative stating “Vince got his finger’s on everything“.
The most impressive High Flyer of the P.G Era that being Ricochet has made some shocking revelations about Vince McMahon’s role in Creative. In his Interview with SPORF, Ricochet talked about How Vince still is the Boss and is handling the Creative accordingly.
He said that “Vince is still involved and Vince is still talked to. He’s still someone that everyone looks to, especially with creative. So he’s got his fingers in everything too“. This comes after the reports that McMahon had made several last-minute changes related to the Monday Night Raw Episode.
Talking about the Chief Content Writer Triple H and the New regime handling WWE, Ricochet had all good to say. Ricochet said that Triple H and the team remains focused on trying to bring out the best in WWE’s every wrestler.
He thinks that Triple H and everybody in creative is just trying to do the best they can. He believes that they are trying to bring out the best of what they have. And that they’re trying to work to everyone’s strengths. He feels this all is happening because of the presence of Triple H.
Talking about the Creative team Ricochet added that it’s been great so far. He addresses how the creative team has been successful in ‘highlighting’ everybody’s strengths. He also emphasizes how the popularity of the brands has increased in the due time.
Rico believes that everybody in the content team is giving it their all. According to him, expansion is the only thing currently on the content team’s mind.
Vince McMahon’s Current Role in WWE
Vince McMahon 77, the former chairman and the CEO of WWE was forced to resign from his company due to multiple sexual harassment allegations against him in July 2022. Due to this reason, Levesque, Vince’s son-in-law was chosen as the new Chief Content Writer Officer(CCO). And in the very process, Levesque became the head of the creative. Which directly meant that Vince would have no control over Creative in any sense.
But Vince had other things in his mind. He saw this development as a coup and made it clear if he was not allowed to return, he would not permit the new media rights deal. He then went on to sell the WWE Company in April to the Endeavour and in the process made himself the Head of WWE as well as the Head of the Creative Department.
