Bayley suffered from a severe injury while being at a WWE House Show match recently. She was competing for the Women’s Heavyweight championship at the House Show in Salisbury, Maryland. Bayley gives a positive health update on social media a day after the incident.
During the WWE live event in Salisbury, Maryland recently, Bayley was assisted out of the ring. The former SmackDown Women’s champion picked up an injury during her match forcing her to lie down in the ring with enormous pain.
Bayley was involved in a fatal-four-way match for the WWE Women’s Championship. She faced the champion Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair in the bout. As the match was about to get finished, Bayley and Asuka looked to take each other out. In the process, Bayley’s knee collided with Asuka’s back further damaging her knee even more.
Just after Bayley lied out on the ring, the referee showed the ‘X’ sign indicating a real and severe injury. The news sent shock waves throughout the wrestling community with everyone praying for her faster recovery and the injury to be a short one.
Bayley gives a positive Health Update on her injury
Just after the news of the injury went viral, fans were worried about the leader of Damage CTRL knowing about her previous injuries. After the event, Bayley was seen walking without any crutches which relieved the fans and supporters. Although she wasn’t walking perfectly, no crutches were indicating no severe injury.
Bayley later took it on her social media telling everyone about her condition. She posted a photo of her leg covered in an ice pack showing her injury. She assured everyone that she will be alright soon.
This isn’t the first time Bayley has been in the news for her injury. In 2021, the former Money in the Bank winner tore her left ACL, costing her an entire year.
It seems that this injury might be short-lived and we might see her again in the ring very soon.
