WWE is all about action, drama, thrills, and chills, basically, full-on entertainment, and this entertainment reaches the paramount when they make the old stars return. This makes us, especially the old viewers feel nostalgic and it helps the young generation who watches WWE to understand the legacy of those legends.
Something similar to that happened in the last episode of WWE’s Monday Night Raw when D-Generation X made their return to WWE with superstar Kurt Angle. I am sure the old viewers must get emotional after watching this.
This return became more exciting when The Imperium interrupted and challenged D-Generation X for a six-man tag team match.
What Happened?
D-Generation X returned to WWE with Kurt Angle who became a member of D-Generation X. Later they got interrupted by Imperium who challenged the oldies for a fight. But, they can’t fight (Age obviously), so everyone made some kind of their own excuse.
But instead of fighting them, Triple H brings Seth Rollins and The Street Profits and organized a tag team match between them. Then, after asking a specific matchmaker to assist him in making a match official, Triple H called up former SmackDown general manager Teddy Long.
Long came to the ring and officiated the match between Imperium vs Seth Rollins and The Street Profits, and made Kurt Angle a guest referee of that match.
What Kurt Angle said?
In the last episode of Raw, D-generation X returned to WWE with all the previous members but instead of Billy Gunn, Kurt Angle was there. There was Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Road Dogg, X-Pac, should be Billy Gun but there was Kurt Angle instead of him, who now became an official member of DX.
“it was the coolest thing in the world”. Angle said in an interview speaking of his feeling.
He further stated, “I had a lot of fun. Being able to hang out with DX, and being able an honorary member was the coolest thing in the world. My whole entire career, I’ve been kind of the nerd and the dork. To go out there with those guys was really cool.
He also said, “I always wanted to be in DX”.
