When we talk about WWE legends, keeping Undertaker’s name out of it? C’mon, that’s silly. Undertaker is easily still one of the most prominent faces in the wrestling world. For like 3 decades The Undertaker spread his magic in WWE, calling it his charm or his tall and dangerous personality, The Deadman is truly a wrestler to remember. WWE however paid the honor by adding him to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 but now they are offering him more than that.
Undertaker on BT Sport told that WWE made him a new offer or can say a new position in the company as a coach. WWE wanted the legend to pass on his experience and his expertise to the upcoming new generation as a trainer. However, the star refused the offer by saying he isn’t ready.
Undertaker said, “I’ve been, I’ve been approached about doing it. My deal is, is trying to take what I did in my era and apply it to where the product is now. It’s tough. It’s tough for me. I’m still coming to grips with not being in the ring, too. It’s tough for me. Even the other night, I have to say, man, I was in the ring, man. I’m feeling pretty good.”
Well, yes it would be tough for anyone as you spent 30 years of your life going in and out in that ring, and suddenly all goon. Undertaker kicked off his tremendous career in 1990 at Survival Series and since then he has been the face of WWE.
The star further added, “I don’t think so. No, no. I guess you never say never. I don’t really have any aspirations to get back in the ring. I would love to be able to. I mean, in my mind and in my heart, there’s nothing I’d rather do, really.”
I guess it’s done for him, no matter how big the offer would WWE give to him, he already made up his mind. If we look from his perspective, he gave his 30 years of life to this sport, and after 30 years, he prepares himself to retire. It’s a tough decision for anyone and Undertaker made that decision, he made up his mind and has no intention of coming back to the ring whatsoever.
