WrestleMania 39 gave us some of the best matches of 2023 so far and there is no denying in that these superstars gave everything to that event. The action was fabulous in that event, which is probably the best wrestling event of the year. But other than brawls and fights, there were some moments of relief, some moments of chit chats. Well, from those moments one of them goes viral.
On Twitter, and many other social media platform one photo from WrestleMania backstage have gone viral and that was of John Cena’s photo with Seth Freakin’ Rollins. These two WWE megastars were seen having a laugh backstage at WrestleMania 39.
John Cena’s Match at WrestleMania
At WrestleMania, John Cena was set for a match against Austin Theory for WWE United States Championship. Cena is now like 40 years old, yes he is old but what he delivered in that match was amazing. Though he wasn’t like his old time, I mean it’s obvious but against a 25-year-old boy, that was impressive.
However, Cena faced defeat in that match as the ref. got bumped by Theory at a perfect time that he didn’t see Theory hit a low blow to 16-time World Champ. Then Theory hit Cena with A-Town Down for the win and retain his title.
Seth Rollins’ Match at WrestleMania
Now, talking about Seth’s match at Mania, it was with Social Media star Logan Paul. Paul proved his worth since his return at Royal Rumble, he is a great performer and a great entertainer as well. At WrestleMania 39, the match was great but got even more exciting after KSI’s entry in a Prime Bottle costume.
Later, Logan was about to hit Frog Splash on Seth but Seth escaped and it hit KSI instead, then the visionary hit a Pedigree on The Maverick, then goes for a but he was kicked out. Later Paul again tried to deliver Frog Splash, and thing time again Seth escaped and hit him with a Superkick, then a Stomp for a win.
Their Relationship
John Cena and Seth Rollins have a great relationship, on and off the screen. Back in 2020, Seth and his partner Becky Lynch were seen with John Cena at Dr. Dolittle’s Premier in California. They took pictures together and shared some fun moments. This shows us how healthy the relationship these two WWE megastars share with each other is.
In March 2023, Seth said that Joh Cena is a GOAT and he always sees him as his mentor. But what about on-screen? Well, the two had some matches against each other, especially when Seth was with The Shield. The Shield rivalry with Cena then he joined The Authority and fought Cena for his US Championship in 2015.
