Are you a game enthusiast? If yes, then you have definitely heard of WWE 2K games. Like FIFA games, WWE has its own gaming franchise released yearly. Recently WWE announced the 23rd edition of this gaming franchise. WWE 2K23 is set to be released on 15th March for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox series, Xbox One, and PCs. From 14th March 2023, you’ll be able to pre-order the game.
Now, as the game’s release date was announced, everyone was excited about the latest rooster which got released by WWE yesterday. WWE finally released the complete rooster for 2K23 which includes almost over 100 playable characters.
100 playable characters? That is a big number. However, WWE superstar Scarlett Bordeaux was not included in that list of 100s and that was very frustrating for her and her family.
Scarlett currently acts as an active manager for her husband, Karrion Kross since the duo returned to the wrestling world. Kross recently expressed his dissatisfaction with his present status on WWE’s main roster, and the removal of his wife from the company’s upcoming video game is unlikely to alleviate those thoughts.
There were some other changes that took place on this roster release, i.e, the removal of the surnames/last names of Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo, making them just Angle and Humberto.
So, some of the changes might offend some such as Scarlett herself but that was the decision made, however, there is still time for the release of the game, and in the final stage before the release, a lot of changes are made every time. Fans are thinking that if Paul Hayman’s name could be removed then why not Scarlett’s?
According to W-inc, Scarlett’s inclusion in the initial rooster list was just a mistake made by the company and now the removal indicates that she won’t be a playable character. The developers still have not spoken yet on this, hope to get some words from him.
