WWE star Sonya Deville has a scary incident back in 2020, where she almost got kidnapped by a stalker.
This incident took place back in 2020 when a man tried to enter Sonya Deville’s house and tried to kidnap her. The culprit is a 24-year-old man named Philip Thomas, who has been recently sentenced to 15 years in prison and 15 years of probation after serving his time in prison.
The culprit, Philip Thomas was apparently a huge fan of the WWE superstar. He tried to get Deville’s attention on Twitter in a series of tweets and replies in her comment section. In his last tweet, he threatened to kill her friend, Mandy Rose. And it looks like he was about to do just that as well as kidnap Deville when he broke into her house in 2020. His attempts of breaking in triggered the alarm system of her house. CCTV footage showed Deville keeping a close eye on the sliding door.
At the time of the break-in, former WWE star Mandy Rose was also with Sonya Deville. It was reported that Thomas drove all the way from South Carolina to Tampa Bay to kidnap Deville. He was also carrying a knife, zip ties, and duct tape to carry out the kidnapping. Fortunately, Thomas was arrested and charged with armed burglary and attempted kidnapping.
Recently, FOX 13 Tampa Bay reported that Thomas has been sentenced to 15 years in prison and 15 years of probation after the sentence. He has pled guilty to several charges including aggravated stalking, attempted kidnapping, and armed burglary. The case was actually closed and then reopened as the court had initially ruled Thomas as mentally unfit. However, he was later found guilty and sentenced to prison recently.
