Dominik Mysterio Warns American Nightmare
Raw started with a video package recapping the feud between Dominik Mysterio and Cody Rhodes. When the show went live, Mysterio and Rhea Ripley were already in the ring, and the crowd heavily booed Mysterio as he welcomed everyone to the show at the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. Rhodes came out to a huge ovation, and Mysterio went to the apron while Ripley stood strong. C insulted Mysterio, who tried to walk away.
Rhodes almost baited him to come into the ring and fight, but Mysterio backed down. The opening segment was dull, but Rhodes was good on the mic, and Mysterio got great heat, so the crowd seemed interested even if what happened in the ring was rather uneventful.
Grade- C+
Ricochet vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Bronson Reed was positioned at ringside during the match between Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura. The match served as an opportunity for the two wrestlers to work out their recent issues. During the match, Nakamura cornered Ricochet and used a series of kicks and a boot to choke him before landing a jumping knee for a two-count. Nakamura later applied a rear-naked choke for the full five-count using the ropes, which impressed Reed. After both wrestlers landed in front of Reed, he taunted them, resulting in both wrestlers kicking him before returning to the ring.
During the match, the Aussie Destroyer attempted to interfere but was removed by the referee. The match continued through the break and into the next segment. Ricochet managed to avoid Kinshasa and secured the victory with a shooting star press. Despite saving their energy for the PPV, The One and Only and Nakamura still put on a solid match. As seasoned veterans, they are among the best in the world and it would be difficult for them to put on a bad performance.
Result- Ricochet successfully shot Shinsuke

Carmelo Hayes, The NXT Champion, supported The World Heavyweight Champion
During his promo, Seth Rollins talked about his upcoming match against Finn Bálor at Money in the Bank. However, during the segment, Bálor tried to attack Rollins with a steel chair, but Rollins was able to anticipate the move. The two wrestlers then fought in and around the ring until Carmelo Hayes, who was seated at ringside, intervened and prevented Bálor from using the chair. Despite chasing Hayes off, Rollins was still visibly impacted by the attack.

However, Rousey was able to secure the win with a pinning combination. Shayna Baszler tried to assist Rousey, but Liv Morgan intervened and attacked Baszler. Akira Tozawa vs. Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio faced off against Akira Tozawa, a handpicked opponent. Despite Dom taking control early on, Tozawa put up a fight with a hurricanrana and shining wizard. Tozawa even knocked Dom out of the ring with a flying shoulder and drilled him with a suicide dive. However, a distraction from Ripley allowed Dom to recover and hit a frog splash for the win. The match was meant to showcase Dom’s dominance, but it also revealed management’s perception of Tozawa’s place on the card.

Money in the Bank confrontation
During the women’s MITB ladder match summit, hosted by Corey Graves, all six competitors spoke for a few moments and exchanged insults before it turned into a brawl. In the end, Becky Lynch emerged as the last woman standing and took down the briefcase, indicating that she may not win it this weekend.
Sami Zayn vs. Gunther
Sami Zayn faced Gunther in a match booked after Imperium attacked Matt Riddle backstage. Zayn sought revenge for his friend, while Kevin Owens supported his teammate’s decision. The Ring General started with a headlock, grounding Zayn. During the match, Giovanni Vinci appeared on crutches. Zayn attempted the exploder suplex in the corner, but Gunther proved too strong. Nevertheless, Zayn made a comeback, executing signature moves like the Blue Thunderbomb and coming close to winning with two counts.
During the match, Owens attacked Kaiser when he tried to interfere, allowing Zayn to take out Gunther with a dive over the top rope. However, Vinci attacked Zayn with his crutch while the ref was distracted, which paved the way for Gunther to hit a powerbomb and secure the win. The interference was in line with the ongoing feud between the wrestlers. Riddle’s appearance at the end sets up a future six-man match. Overall, the match was an enjoyable exchange between two skilled veterans.
Result – Gunther emerged victorious

Carmelo Hayes vs. Finn Bálor
Finn Bálor stood in the ring, anticipating the arrival of Carmelo Hayes. The match had been scheduled after Hayes aided Rollins in fending off Bálor earlier in the show and at NXT Gold Rush. Bálor quickly asserted his dominance, taking Hayes down by the legs and stomping on him. Although Hayes attempted a comeback with a textbook dropkick and a springboard backward leg drop, Bálor regained control after a commercial break. Hayes tried again, but Bálor ended.
The match between Melo and Bálor was their first real encounter, which can be challenging. However, they established good chemistry right away and put on an entertaining showcase. Melo executed numerous impressive high-flying moves, while Bálor provided a solid base. Surprisingly, there was no interference, and Bálor won cleanly with the final shot.
Result- Finn Bálor won

Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest
In preparation for his London match against Dom, Rhodes battled Damian Priest in the main event. Despite Priest’s size advantage, Rhodes fought back and focused on his opponent’s arm. However, Priest halted Rhodes’ momentum by stomping him down in the corner. Dom and Ripley watched from ringside and distracted Rhodes, allowing Priest to take him down with a flatliner.
The performance at the closing of the show was impressive, with an evident improvement in the second half, as is typical of Rhodes’ competitions. During the match, Dom tripped Rhodes while the referee was distracted, but Priest was unable to defeat him with South of Heaven. In the end, the American Nightmare made a comeback and secured the win with Cross Rhodes.
Result- Cody Rhodes defeated Damian Priest
