So another week with another action-packed night on Monday as it’s Monday Night RAW time. Now, the last episode of Raw was a banger, it was the last episode before the eliminations chamber, a lot of storylines were at their inception, and a lot of them were about to end. Now as you’ll know the event of the eliminations chamber has passed and it left us we so many options for the future.
Here today we’ll be looking at the preview of the upcoming episode of Raw. As the whole match card is not out yet, let’s just look at the confirmed matches.
Austin Theory defending his US title against Edge
Remember the post-event conference after the Eliminations Chamber where Austin Theory put on the open challenge for his Unite States Title? Well, What happened is that in the Elimination Chamber match, Austin Theory beat all the other 5 contenders to retain his US title. However, Theory didn’t do it all by himself, Logan Paul’s assistance helped Theory to pin down Seth Rollins.
Now after the win, I guess Theory got overconfident and in the post-event conference he issued the open challenge for his US title. After his conference, Edge along with Beth Phoenix came where Edge mentioned that it’s been so long since he hasn’t touched any WWE title and now this is the time. He accepted Theory’s challenge and we will be seeing Edge vs Austin Theory for United States Championship this Monday.
Now if the match goes without any interruption then there is no way Austin is winning the title. Yes, however, Edge is old and Theory is just 25 years old but Edge is in perfect shape. He won the Royal Rumble when he returned, and he consistently winning matches, I guess Edge is good to go and we can see a new United States Champion.
Mustafa Ali vs Dolph Ziggler
These two superstars just hate each other, all they wanted to get finish one another and they are getting the chance for the first time to get into a ring for a fight. The ongoing rivalry is 2 months long and now WWE confirmed their match at the next episode of Raw.
Their rivalry was initiated in December when Ali was fighting for the US title against Austin Theor. The match was interrupted by Ziggler resulting in an instant disqualification and this left Ali frustrated as he left empty-handed.
Not getting into many details of the match we could say that the match will going be a lit one as frustration is now a part of this match which make most of the match more interesting. However hard to say who can win the match as both stars’ reputation is at stake.
Seth Rollins Vs Logan Paul
However, the match is not officially set by the WWE neither I am saying that we can see them fighting this Monday but what happened in the eliminations chamber was when medics left the door open which gave Paul a chance to enter the ring and stomp Seth Rollins which helped Austin Theory retain his title. I think it’s a gateway to a future storyline of Seth and Paul and we might see something related to it this Monday.
