A stage name is something that these superstars are going to be recognized with for the rest of their lives and changing that is quite a tough decision. However, it became common among stars nowadays but it wasn’t then that superstars like Madusa changed their names. Changing names is not only hard for the stars but for their fans as well, some welcome their icon’s new persona, some may not.
Recently Bella Twins adopted a new name for them as now they are parting ways with WWE. Now they are being called, Gracia Twins. So that means Nikki Bella to Nikki Gracia and Brie Bella to Brie Gracia and together The Gracia Twins.
The twins are going to turn 40 in a few months and now they decide to close this chapter to start off a new beginning. To know more about the Bella Twins situation, click on the link below.

Reason Behind Madusa Name Change
While promoting her book, “The Woman Who Would Be King: The Madusa Story”, she explained the reason behind changing her name. On Busted Open Radio she shared the experience.
She said, “When we did finally speak, Vince and I, we knew that we had to come up with a name. He really liked Madusa and I told him over the phone, ‘No, I don’t really want to use that. I worked so hard for that and I just didn’t want to use it.’ And it went silent. Before I was hired, I thought I was fired. I thought for sure that was the end. But sure enough, he said that we’ll come up with another name.”
She clearly showed us how hard it is for an athlete to change his or her name as they worked really really hard to give that name some value. She clearly doesn’t want to use Madusa at that time.
Later she explained how Vince McMahon let her choose which new stage name she wanted. She said that after a long thought process, she decided to name herself Alundra Blayze Champion (ABC). Everyone loved that name and she was happy as she didn’t like the name that Vince suggested but later when she moved to WCW, she eventually got the name Madusa.
