Former WWF Superstar Mike ‘Mantaur’ Hall recently passed away as reported by Eric Simms. Mantaur had huge fame in WWF as well as ECW during his professional career.
There are various larger-than-life characters in the wrestling industry and one such talent was Mantaur. Mike left his fans and colleagues at the age of 55 yesterday. Mike Halac, was a professional wrestler and since his departure from the wrestling world, he was busy with promotional work. The news broke out when Eric Simms of ESS promotions wrote a heartfelt message on Facebook regarding Mike’s death.
Malac was supposed to present at different promotional events throughout September and August. Ron posted a photo of Mike delivering this devastating news with a message :
“I am sad to report that Mike Halac who played the character Mantaur has passed away. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We had mike booked for 90s wrestling con sept 30 and a full weekend of bookings that weekend. RIP Mantaur.”
A Look at the Career of Mantaur
Mike Halac portrayed the character of Mantaur in WWF in the early 1990s. Mantaur portrayed himself as half-bull and half-man which attracted a lot of fans into his work. He used to wear a large bull headpiece looking like a complete beast in his character.
He made his WWF debut in 1995 and was seen as an enhancement talent during the time. Mike fought various huge superstars during his time in WWF like Razor Ramon, Bret Hart, and many more. After a short span of time, he left the company in 1996 and went on to the independent circuits further continuing his career.
His sudden demise has left a lot of broken hearts among the fans and various people are showing their respective condolences to him and his family.
