This a small recall from the last Monday Night Raw, when Becky Lynch took on Bayley in a steel cage match. A match that was supposed to happen on the 30th anniversary but happened last Raw.
The match was very intense, I still remember rating it as the best of the night. When Lynch was in control of the whole match, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai interrupted the match and came inside the ring to help their Damage CRTL partner.
Lynch got knocked by them as she was all alone and all by herself, but only for a few moments. The crowd got excited when they hear the entrance music of Lita who joined the party only to help her friend Becky Lynch. The four times women’s champion hit IYO SKY with a series of attacks and dropped a Twist of fate to knock her out. On the other side, Lynch hit Bayley with ManHandle Slam and took up a very important victory there.
WRKD Wrestling reported on 14th February that WWE hall of Famer Trish Stratus is planning her return to the ring. They reported that she would return for the program in an unexpected role.
They Wrote, “Hate to backtrack on our 2nd tweet ever, but plans have changed due to Dakota’s injury and Trish won’t be at Raw tonight. However, she is absolutely on her way soon, and we can share that she will be around for a lengthy program. She definitely won’t be in a role most expect…”
Trish who is now 47 years of age is planning her return, however, that didn’t happen in the previous episode in which it was supposed to happen due to an injury to Dakota Kai. But it was expected for the next week when the Canadian superstar will return.
What, we as fans are expecting is that IYO SKY will be busy for her WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 39, now it is a great opportunity for her to revive the old rivalry with Lita.
Both superstars crossed the mark of 45 years of age and have said goodbyes to their wrestling careers but after so many years, they finally got a chance to experience that energy of being in the ring once again.
