Triple H has been bringing back a lot of released talent and FTR is one of those names. According to a few reports, the tag team is interested in returning to WWE. Their contract from Tony Khan’s promotion will expire in April, this year.
As sources have revealed, All Elite Wrestling’s co-owner, Tony Khan is trying his best to sign a new deal with the formerly known The Revival. However, WWE Management is highly interested in bringing back the pair of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
The Wrestling Blog states that “WWE Management is interested in potentially signing FTR when they become Free Agents on April 2023. There have been reports that Tony Khan is trying his best to “force” them to sign a new deal with AEW, but FTR has shown no interest on signing a new deal with AEW at this moment.”
Before joining All Elite Wrestling and getting the names of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, the tag team was known as The Revival and they used to perform under the names of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder.
During their time in WWE, they never actually reached the top of their calibre. However, when they joined AEW, they instantly managed to reach the top of the brand. The Duo also captured titles among different promotions such as AAA and ROH.
As FTR is rumoured to leave AEW, can Kenny Omega be the other name?
Triple H is a great admirer of talent, and another talent under his radar is Kenny Omega. Teaming up with Tony Khan, The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega took the first step towards the making of All Elite Wrestling.
But the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes is back to WWE and few Omega supporters are rooting for his promotion shift. Recently, people saw him wearing Sami Zayn Merchandise and the supporters just went wild and started connecting it with him going to WWE.
However, Kenny Omega has also advocated that there is a bad aura present backstage at All Elite Wrestling. In 2022, Omega spent most of his time away from the ring, but he also didn’t have a good time when he was there.
