WWE‘s general manager, Adam Pearce has reportedly accused two supersters of cheating in order to win matches on RAW two years ago.
The incident took place two years ago on March 1, 2021, episode of Monday night RAW where The Hurt Business’ Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin defended the RAW Tag Team Championship against Braun Strowman and Adam Pearce.
During that time, Shane McMahon was in an active fued with Braun Strowman and he was also present outside the ring for the match. The Monsters of Monsters was thrashing everyone from left to right in the ring.
But Vince McMahon’s son asked Adam Pearce to get a tag and get inside the ring. The current general manager didn’t wanted to be a part of the hassle but as he was ordered by Shane McMahon, he agreed.
And as he entered the ring, he was pinned by Shelton Benjamin. However, after almost two years of the match, a fan reminded the authority personnel of the tag match. Seeing the tweet, Pearce responded by claiming The Hurt Business cheated to retain the RAW Tag Team Championship.
How’s Adam Pearce has been with WWE in his tenure?
Since getting the Authority role in WWE, Adam Pearce has been handling a bunch of things. He has sour relationship with Ronda Rousey as well as Bobby Lashley. He got Rousey arrested while Pearce also fired the Almighty on-screen.
He also found Dexter Lumis is a menace when he kidnapped the A-lister, the Miz. Hence, the 44-year-old has been indulged in numerous angles by the promotion, which has made his presence at the general manager more enjoyable.
However, he has recently shown gratitude for the Ring of Honor. He stated that ROH is the reason why he’s currently signed under the brand of WWE. And if things stay good, we can surely see him battling in the ring wearing his wrestling boots.
