WrestleMania is all about action and surprises and this time was no different. From Roman Reigns’ title retainment to new tag team champions, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens everything was just amazing.
But other than action, there were some jaw-dropping moments, one of them was when Shane McMahon’s “Here, comes the Money” hit the stadium and put 73,000 people at SoFi Stadium in shock. So, what happened is on Night 1 of WrestleMania 39, when Snoop Dogg and The Miz were hosting the event, Snoop announced a match between The Miz and Pat McAfee, which is obviously lost.
So the next day when the two again came into the ring to host the last night of the event, they got into an argument. while they were having a verbal argument, suddenly Shane McMahon’s music hits the speakers of the arena and put everyone in shock. Shane McMahon came in as a new challenger as Snoop Dogg again announced another match and this time Shane McMahon against The Miz.
The Miz’s whole presence was to entertain, he just lost the charm of being a wrestler, he is just now a joker of WWE who came from time to time to suffer and entertain the audience. The use of a character for entertainment purposes is an old ritual at WWE. But anyways, talking about the match, it turned into a huge disaster for Mr. Money as he was performing leapfrog but landed horribly. McMahon fall to the ground and tore his quad muscle.
Medic immediately came in for the check and since McMahon was able to further continue the match, Snoop Dogg took charge and announced he is gonna do it. Even he put on a good fight, even performing a people’s elbow to the Miz and winning the game.
But like I said, WrestleMania is all about surprises and action, we have seen a lot from the night. The surprises were great and the matches were also top-notch, at least most of them.
