In a geopolitical context, Poland is one of the most trusted countries for Ukraine. Poland has been supporting Ukraine from the start of the conflict between the nations, since February 2022. Poland is against everyone who belongs to the country of Russia and its allies. The country of Poland has been blocking entries of the personalities who have any link to the country of Russia or its allies.
However, Vera has made her stance clear that she is against any type of violence. She is also against her country’s actions on the country of Ukraine. Vera was seen displaying her stance on violence. In the Miami Open in March 2022 she was wearing a visor that had “NO WAR” written on it.
What happened to Vera at the Airport?
Vera Zvonareva was using her French Visa issued by the French Government and wanted to go to Poland. The Polish officials said, “Vera Zvonareva, using a visa issued by France, tried to get into our country on a flight from Belgrade to Warsaw. After arriving from Serbia, the tennis player stayed in the transit zone of Warsaw Chopin Airport and today, afternoon, she flew to Podgorica (Montenegro).”
