Roman Reigns makes a highly anticipated return to the blue brand first time since winning the mega main event at WrestleMania against Cody Rhodes. He looks to discuss the ongoing Bloodline story and might have an opponent for his title defense at Night of Champions.
On this week’s SmackDown, The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns looks to take over the blue brand once again as he returns to SmackDown. After defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, The Head of the Table appeared on RAW after WrestleMania.
Roman kicked off RAW with Solo Sikoa interrupted by Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar eventually setting up a tag team match. Brock and Cody teamed up to face Roman and Solo in the main event of RAW. The match was abandoned after Brock’s vicious attacks on Cody. Roman was not seen on TV after this appearance but was on calls during the show with Paul Heyman. Heyman was in touch with Roman during the whole Bloodline storyline.
This week’s SmackDown will also see an updated roster since the Draft with new wrestlers. Roman might address the Bloodline story and make his decision about loyalty and trust.
ROMAN REIGNS POSSIBLE FUTURE OPPONENT AT THE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS
Since defeating Cody, Roman looks to defend his Title at WWE’s upcoming live event, Night Of Champions. No such opponent has been revealed for Roman’s next title defense but many superstars can match the perfect fit.
AJ STYLES
The Phenomenal One made his recent return to the Blue brand forming the O.C. The former WWE Champion is a huge favorite to face Roman and might battle the Tribal chief at Night of Champions. Both still have a lot of unfinished business in the ring since facing each other back in 2016.
LOGAN PAUL
Logan Paul has been at the top of his game since he’s been in WWE and has delivered exceptional performances. Since the event is in Saudi Arabia, this might be a rematch for Paul since he failed to capture the title back in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
BOBBY LASHLEY
Bobby Lashley was drafted to SmackDown during the draft opening the window for a rivalry between Roman and him. Both of them are pure hard hitters and fans would love to see both of them collide for the title.
Though there are many more superstars who might face Roman at Night Of Champions. It will be made clear this week when Roman returns to the Blue Brand to decide his own fate.
