The story of Bloodline and Sami Zayn is regarded as one of the most intriguing storylines in WWE. And especially after what happened at the Royal Rumble. However, after the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens, a lot of things changed.
In the final moments of the match, Kevin Owens kicked out at two after a thrashing spear from the side of the Tribal Chief. Later in the match, Sami Zayn’s hesitation almost cost Roman Reigns his beloved titles.
But somehow, the Bloodline leader managed to retain his titles at another juncture. After the match, Bloodline started beating down Kevin Owens. They were throwing the former Universal Champion in the ring.
However, Sami Zayn interrupted the Samoan Family’s party by slamming the Tribal Chief with a chair. That resulted in Jey Uso leaving the ring and Zayn getting lashed out by the remaining members of Bloodline.
Are you going to see Sami Zayn vs Roman Reigns?
When Roman Reigns was encouraging the Houourary Uce to attack his former best friend with a chair, The Tribal Chief got the chants of “F**k You Roman”. And when Sami slammed the chair on Roman Reigns’ back, the crowd went wild.
The way the WWE universe reacted to Sami’s pop-up, it’s evident that he’s among the most loved superstars in the promotion currently. And according to the recent report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer, Zayn vs Roman is a sure thing that we’ll see at the Elimination Chamber.
The Rock’s return at WrestleMania 39 is highly unlikely because he won’t be in the shape for the return. Consequently, Cody Rhodes’s Royal Rumble triumph has made sure that we’ll see him locking horns against Roman Reigns for his titles.
As the reports stand currently, we can Cody Rhodes dethroning the Tribal Chief. But other than the American Nightmare, we can also see Sami Zayn breaking the ice. Especially after his proven connection with the audience.
