After winning the Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes is in the limelight. You can see everything is about Cody’s return to WWE, and his dream of becoming a WWE World Champion. He is going to face Roman Reigns in WrestleMania and etc, and like every time, Women’s wrestling hides in the shadows.
However, if we talk about them, in the 6th edition of Women’s Royal Rumble, Rhea Ripley was the one who grasped the win over the other 29 contenders. This run of Ripley’s is something that should be in the discussion as she was the first player to enter the ring.
Ripley broke many records in that match, including Bianca Belair’s longest-lasting entrants at the Royal Rumble which is slightly over an hour. She even made a personal record for the most eliminations by a single player i.e. 7.
She was the first to enter and last to leave the ring and spending 1 hour, 1 minute, and 8 seconds inside the ring and eliminating 7 contenders including Asuka, B-Fab, Chelsea Green, Liv Morgan, Michelle McCool, Nia Jax, and Raquel Rodriguez.
Liv Morgon came as #2 in the ring and maintains herself to the very last of the game but got eliminated by Rhea Ripley. After eliminating her, Ripley becomes the first woman ever to win a 30-women Rumble from the #1 entrant position.
Rhea Ripley wanted to compete in the men’s Royal Rumble
After a historic win last night, Ripley is in the eyes of everyone. However, for Ripley competing with Women is not that tough, she wanted to go hand in hand with men.
A few, days back Ripley quoted, when asked to fight in men’s wrestling, “I mean yeah, I would love to enter the men’s Royal rumble”
“I would love to, it’d be a lot of fun, and it’s a history-making thing. Especially having someone like Beth Phoenix, who is someone that I really looked up to as a kid, I loved her a lot, and I related to her. Body-wise, she made me feel confident in myself.” She further stated.
At first, everyone took her lightly but after a performance like this, we can say that she has potential. Even she proved that a few months back when he slammed Luke Gallows.
Well, it would be fun to watch her competing in men’s competition but hard to say if she would be able to win over there.
