WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley recently got mobbed by fans at an airport, for signing their merchandise.
It isn’t an uncommon incident for WWE Superstars to get swarmed at public places to sign merchandise. Fans often get their merch signed by superstars, looking to resell them for a higher value. And unfortunately, Rhea Ripley was the latest victim of this reoccurring incident.
The 26-year-old Australian superstar faced a mob of fans at the airport while traveling. They quickly swarmed Ripley to sign some merchandise. Incidents like these can definitely get uncomfortable and sometimes, scary for celebrities.
Over the past few weeks, the cases of superstars getting swarmed at airports and other public places by fans to get their merch signed. There is a huge problem among WWE Superstars being stalked in public places, and it has only been growing day by day.
Ripley took to Twitter about this incident, issuing a stern warning to fans who harass other superstars at airports, solely to get some extra profit. She firmly said that she wasn’t going to sign anything for fans anymore until it was a personal photo of them.
What’s worse is that Ripley isn’t the first wrestler to get harassed in public places like this. In February, the same incident happened to WWE Hall Of Famer, Rey Mysterio. Even Liv Morgan faced a similar incident last month as well when she was swarmed for autographs.
WWE Management is well aware of these incidents, as they have instructed superstars not to sign any merchandise when out in public places.
Rhea Ripley is ready for WrestleMania
Rhea Ripley is set to face Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, with a fresh win over Bayley this week on Raw. Bayley had Damage CTRL on her side, who tried to help her win. However, a momentary distraction from Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus helped Ripley pick up the win after hitting the Riptide.
Ripley is looking to be a pretty fearful opponent for Charlotte, who Ripley has been promising for weeks, that she will make The Queen fear her during their match. What actually goes down remains to be seen at WrestleMania 39, as The Queen and The Eradicator.
