The Judgement Day’s Eradicator, Rhea Ripley has challenged the Queen Charlotte Flair to WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 39. Ripley won the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble in great fashion.
She entered the rumble at the first number and she later went on to outlast the other 29 women. Rhea also made a new record of spending the most time in a women’s Royal Rumble by crossing the one-hour mark.
After her Royal Rumble trimuph, it was definite that she’ll choose her WrestleMania 39 opponent in this edition of Monday Night RAW. Rhea Ripley initially said that she can choose any title that she wants. Following that, she started talking about her defeat to Charlotte Flair a few years ago.
This will be the second time when both women will compete against each other at WrestleMania main event. However, Charlotte Flair walked out victorious. It will be really interesting to see who wins this time.
Rhea Ripley and the Judgement Day interrupted Cody Rhodes’ speech
The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes won the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble by eliminating Gunthar in the final moments. Rhodes came out of RAW in order to talk about his weekend triumph.
And it was interrupted by Judgement Day. Finn Balor accused him of ripping off his stuff. Dominik Mysterio then blamed Rhodes for costing him the Royal Rumble match. Damien Priest then said that Rhodes didn’t deserve the Royal Rumble win unlike Rhea Ripley because she entered the match in the first spot.
Then, Cody Rhodes started mocking Dominik Mysterio. Following that, Edge made his return and started a brawl against the Judgement Day while the American Nightmare joined his side.
A fight between Cody Rhodes and Finn Balor was later announced by Adam Pearce. The American Nightmare later won the match with the help of interference from Edge and Beth Phoenix.
