Zelina Vega is one of those female wrestlers who show excitement about their events and recently Vega announced that she will have a match in the upcoming event of Backlash. Backlash 2023 is going to happen in Puerto Rico which happens to be the home country of The Queen of the Ring and that made this event even more special for her.
To this, she even expressed her feeling and said that she is shaking even thinking about going back. She said that this is going to be the first time for her family to see her wrestling in Puerto Rico and can’t express her feelings in words. It feels unreal to her to be wrestling in her country.
Well of course the pressure is immense on her because it’s her first time playing in her country. She said, “There are a lot of firsts here, I’m shaking just thinking about it. I’m nervous, but the excitement has taken over me. I don’t think I’ve ever shown this level of vulnerability as far as how much this means to me, and how nervous I am. It’s a good nervous, but I feel like I’m bringing everyone with me, and that’s a cr*zy thing for me.”
I guess this will work as a positive energy in her which give her an upper hand in the match against Rhea Ripley.

Zelina Vega’s match at Backlash was against Rhea Ripley and it is going to be tough for her to come out of the match as a winner because Mami is continuously performing well. Recently Rhea Ripley become WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion after beating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.
But The Queen of the Ring winner is positive thinking about it as she said in that same interview that she beat her last time in just 45 seconds and is planning to do the same again. However, this is not going to be that easy for Vega this time. This time Rhea Ripley is even more powerful and full of confidence.
