The whole wrestling world got under the veil of anguish after they got to know the passing of superstar Jay Briscoe. The professional wrestling star lost his life on the evening of January 17 in a car accident.
The sad incident shocked the whole World. And various male and female superstars across different promotions in the world came ahead by posting heartfelt thoughts and memories regarding the death of the wrestler.
But Kevin Owens got the most emotional with the words. The former WWE Universal Champion posted the most heartbreaking message of them all. Owens’ message was huge in praising the late superstar, Jay Briscoe.
Kevin Owens said that after hearing the news of Jay Briscoe’s passing, he started watching their old matches. KO also read the old conversations of him with Jay. He also raised his concern regarding his late friend’s family.

“I spent hours reading what people had to say about Jamin last night. I watched some of our matches together. I went back and read our last texts to each other. I am so heartbroken for his family.”
“Every single one of them that I met over the years, and I met a lot of them because they all stuck together like glue, all special human beings that would give you the shirt off their back in a heartbeat if you needed it. That’s who Jamin was, too.”
The Ring of Honor star’s demise was announced on Tuesday by All Elite Wrestling CEO Tony Khan. Ring of Honor was acquired by the AEW founder last year. Briscoe’s real name was Jamin Pugh. He established his name in ROH for more than 20 years.
Jay Briscoe alongside his brother, Mark Briscoe was a record-breaking 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champion. He recently won the ROH tag team title against Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler (FTR) in a Double Dog Collar match. Kevin Owens also praised Jay’s brother, Mark.
