Former WWE Superstar Paige, officially known as, Saraya has been absent from AEW television for several weeks, leaving fans speculating about her whereabouts. However, she recently took to Twitter to inform her fans about her return. According to recent reports, the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion Saraya is set to make her return to action in AEW soon.
The latest reports suggest Saraya return to AEW is imminent. Her last appearance on the show was on May 31, 2023, when she teamed up with Chris Jericho for a tag team match against Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker, unfortunately losing the match. Since then, Saraya has been missing from AEW programming.
AEW will be in Chicago for this week’s Dynamite, much to the delight of fans eagerly awaiting Saraya’s return. Her appearance has been confirmed via a tweet where she also addressed the “Interview Wrestling Community.” Expectations are high for her comeback on the show.
Former WWE Diva criticism on AEW bookings
Saraya’s recent criticism of All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan’s booking decisions has gained attention. On a recent episode of Keepin’ It 100, Konnan addressed Saraya’s statements and expressed his belief that her criticism was sincere.

Paige Wrestling Career in WWE
On 7 April 2014, Paige made her main roster debut in the WWE and congratulated WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee on her successful title defense at WrestleMania XXX. Lee challenged Paige to a match, which Paige won, becoming the first female wrestler to hold a developmental (NXT Women’s) and primary (WWE Divas) championship at the same time and also the youngest Divas Champion.
On 30 July 2014, AJ Lee returned to WWE and defeated Paige for the Divas Championship. Paige has won multiple Divas and Raw Women’s Division championships.
