Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo received a booking for holding an opponent by his neck which looked like a headlock used in WWE and the video got viral on social media as Ronaldo can be seen attempting a headlock on his opponent during his football match against Al Hilal.
Cristiano Ronaldo was again in the controversy as he was given a yellow card after an indefinite foul during Al Nassr’s 2-0 loss against city rivals Al Hilal. While Ronaldo attempted to score a goal four times in the match, he was still unable to give his team a clear win and lost the match with a yellow card after a massive foul that looked like a certain headlock.
The incident took place in the 57th minute of the fixture as Ronaldo was seen seizing down Al Hilal’s midfielder Gustavo Cuellar with a headlock, upon seeing the nasty challenge on the midfielder, match referee Michael Oliver didn’t wait much before showing a yellow card to the former Manchester United striker.
It looked like Ronaldo did a modified version of Zig Zag which is the finisher of former WWE Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler as pointed out by many fans.
Dolph reacted to the incident and replied with a gif of him taking out Cody Rhodes with his trademark Zig Zag.
Ronaldo has been with Al Nassr after signing a contract with the team in December last year and has been very consistent and rich in goals keeping his side on the top of the Saudi league with Ronaldo scoring 11 in his last 10 games for the club, he looks like a man in form.
