The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 39 opponent has been announced. The former WWE Champion will lock horns against the Nigerian Giant Omos in the squared circle.
The match was officially announced on this week’s edition of RAW, where Brock Lesnar and MVP made peace with the decision. However, the promo was followed by MVP spitting liquid on the Brest Incarnate’s face and then Lesner ended things up with an F5.
Lesner initially entered MVP’s VIP Lounge and asked the former wrestler to sell him the match for the biggest stage of all, WrestleMania. The manager said that the Beast have defeated everyone in the company, except Omos. Hence, he should face him in the ring. Lesnar was also got impressed with the pitch where excepted it.
Last week, Omos’ manager, MVP called out Brock Lesnar in the ring for a match against the Nigerian Giant. Consequently, Lesner was not present at the Monday night RAW, so, he wasn’t able to come out.
What were Brock Lesnar and Omos doing before this?
Before confirming his fight with Omos, Lesner was in a feud with Bobby Lashley. The feud completed the trilogy with the Almighty being victorious two times. However, the WWE universe still thinks that the feud would have got a better ending.
The first time they locked horns was in Day 1 event, where Bobby Lashley won. Then, they fought each other at Premium pay-per-view Crown Jewel. In Saudi Arabia, Brock Lesnar defeated the Almighty and it looked the rivalry will be rested.
But when Lashley eliminated Lesner from the Royal Rumble match, earlier this year, things caught fire again. The Beast Incarnate called out his rival with a funny promo in an edition of Monday Night RAW. Eventually, Lesner ended up getting disqualified against Bobby Lashley at the Elimination Chamber.
On the other side, the Nigerian Giant was struggling to find a stable riavlry. As he was fighting with Mustafa Ali and the jobbers for a long time. His last credible opponent was also Bobby Lashley where MVP changed sides.
