The first night of WWE Draft will begin on SmackDown this Friday and fans are excited to see what new is coming for the rest of the year. Not only fans but also WWE superstars are eagerly waiting for it and even Former legends are excited for this pool. On this WWE Hall of Famer Booker T said that he wanted to see WWE introduce a mid-card title for the Women’s division as men have on their main roster.
A mid-card title is a mid-level title or can say a tier 2 title in the titles hierarchy. Like WWE World Title and WWE, Universal Championships are the two top titles in Men’s division, and for Women, Raw Women’s Title and SmackDown Women’s Title are the two most important in the Women’s division. But the men’s division got a mid-card title like WWE United States Championship and WWE Intercontinental Title but for the women,’s division, there is nothing.
Booker T wants a mid-level title for NXT
Former WWE legend and current WWE Hall of Famer Booker T in a recent interview suggested that WWE should introduce a mid-level title for the ladies of WWE and NXT. He said that these ladies got a lot of potential in them and if they introduce titles like United States Champion for Women, it will become more exciting for them and the viewer as well.
He said, “We should have a mid-card belt for the ladies, almost like a television championship where it’s not competing with the Women’s NXT Championship, just to give someone else a little biof a rub, a little bit of shine, as well as a little bit of something to work for because it always gonna be a while before you work your way to that big goal,”
The Five Time WCW Champion said on FOX by giving an example from NXT that if they add a title other than NXT Championship it will give a little motivation for other players who are competing for NXT Championship. It will just help the roster to grow.
