BOOKER T EXPRESSED HIS THOUGHTS ON THE FIEND PERSONA OF BRAY WYATT
One of the top Hall of Famers, Booker T recently expressed his views on Bray Wyatt‘s character The Fiend.
Recently, WWE legend Booker T appeared on the Hall of Fame podcast and while revealing various stuff about his career, and feuds, he also expressed his views on the Fiend’s persona.
Speaking on the podcast, the Hall of Famer spoke about the Fiend’s character and how it has been underwhelming, and why he is unable to reach its peak like it did when it was introduced.
Booker also added that the releases made in 2021 created a lot of loopholes and left a lot of loose ends and while the fans praised the fiend character when it was introduced, they are not able to connect it with and enjoy it as much as they did the last time it was shown on television.
According to Booker T, Wyatt’s current run is not worth the crowd’s attention and is rather a bit confusing for the fans as they are not able to continue the amount of excitement and involvement they gave to the character during its first run and all the blame has to be given to the releases which were made during covid and because of that it has impacted Bray’s character and persona in a huge way.
“Bray Wyatt before he left was, man, Bray Wyatt as far as the guy that they were selling all the merchandise, putting on these certain kind of matches. We still was trying to figure out what Bray Wyatt really was.”
Booker also thinks that Bray is trying to find his new momentum but lately cannot achieve it, he also thinks that Wyatt is still confused about whether he wants to showcase himself rather than show the supernatural references as at the end of the day fans wanna see their performers wrestle, which Wyatt isn’t doing lately.
While speaking on bringing back ‘THE FIEND’, the Hall of Famer stated that no one came out as a better performer after feuding with the Fiend character and according to him Wyatt should be himself, find his own identity, and not any supernatural performer like he is been lately.
“…..we don’t know what Bray Wyatt really is….”
As for Bray, he is rumored to face Bobby Lashley at the showcase of immortals but his absence recently has had fans doubting his match at WrestleMania which will unfold in the coming weeks.
