Former Women’s Champion Bayley was on TheBump yesterday night and shared her views on the new World Titles for the Women faction that are in the rumors. For the women’s division of WWE, there were two singles titles, the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships. This was the case since 2016.
However, later in 2019, due to repeated requests of Bayley and Sasha Banks to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, The brand new Women’s Tag Team Championship was also introduced.
Recently, In an interview, Bayley opens up about her thoughts on WWE Women having Intercontinental or United States championship, same as Men’s division. She reveals that she would like to add more glory to her legacy by adding more titles to her achievements.
Bayley spoke about the significance of the new WWE Women’s and WWE Women’s World Championships during an interview on “The Bump”. She described the titles as beautiful and acknowledged that while it was sad to see the previous titles go, it was time for a change due to the growth of the roster.
Bayley compared the new titles to the rebranding of the Divas Title to the Raw Women’s Title. She stated that the new titles have given her added motivation to return to the top of WWE’s women’s division and to add more gold to her cabinet.
Bayley also added that she wants to raise the titles to add glory to her achievements. Additionally, She is also hoping for her Damage CTRL friend, Iyo Sky to lift the titles. She mentions that Iyo Sky’s wins will make her equally happy as those of winning her.
Bayley is an overachiever in WWE
She is a WWE powerhouse, and holds the record of winning the WWE Raw Women’s Championship, the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship, and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. She is the first woman to achieve the Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam winner titles in WWE history.
Bayley also holds the record for the longest singular SmackDown Women’s Championship reign at 380 days. Furthermore, she won the 2019 Money in the Bank ladder match and was the first woman to defend a WWE title in Saudi Arabia.
