Roman Reigns is considered one of the greatest in WWE, or if not then he should be. At least according to 16 times World Champion John Cena, Roman Reigns should be in GOAT Discussion. Last week WWE Superstar made that statement in which he said that he thinks after achieving this much, Roman Reigns should be in the Greatest Of All Time debate. But why is that? Why John Cena thinks that?
Well, the answer is simple, Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Title in 2020 and since then no one took that from him. That simply means he has been a champion for 3 years straight. No one pinned Roman Reigns for like 1000 days. In WWE, no superstar achieved that milestone ever and Roman Reigns is still going strong. His title reign is considered a legendary thing and I don’t think Roman is going to lose it anytime soon, however, Austin Theory thinks otherwise.
In a recent interview with WrestleBinge, Austin Theory opens up about his thoughts on Roman Reigns’ legendary title reign. He said, “look at where Jey’s come from in the past let’s even say two years, the level that he’s on. He’s always been on a great level. But you just see him shining and, honestly, man, I know they say there’s nobody that can take those titles from Roman. But it could be someone standing right next to him. That’s all I’m gonna say”.
So, what Austin Theory simply means is that Roman Reigns should first focus on his own team, especially Jey Uso who left the ring after Sami Zayn’s betrayal at Royal Rumble. He thinks it could be one of them who could dethrone him. He thinks the person standing right next to him means someone close to him could be the one who may take away the title of “Undisputed” from him.
But for now, Roman Reigns is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and is going to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 for that title and at that event, anything could happen.
