In a short period of time, Zelina Vega gained quite an impressive achievement in WWE. Recently she was seen on an online streaming platform Twitch. She stopped making Twitch videos in 2021 after being fired by WWE in 2020 for violating their policy.
Back in November 2020, Zelina Vega was fired by the company for violating their mandate on their party platform bans. However, after an online outrage from fans, she got back on board and was even allowed to stream on any platform. Fans argued that it was WWE stars’ right to earn money from wherever they wanted and that’s why WWE lifted that ban.
So since her return in 2021 after changing her stage name from Zelina Vega to Thea Trinidad today was the first time she was seen on Twitch. She finally broke her silence and returned to the live-streaming platform.
On Twitter, she got emotional after her stream. She said, “Thank you all so much for the stream, I wanted to cry but I kept it together! I love you guys! I’m so blessed to combine my love of streaming, gaming & anime with WWE.. to connect with all of you!!!
Zelina Vega’s wrestling journey
It’s truly an emotional moment for a wrestler to do other things she loves and keep her journey of WWE alongside. Her WWE journey started in 2017 but before that, she worked for several wrestling agencies. In 2011 when she started her career she joined the independent wrestling circuit and then Total Non-Stop Wrestling in 2013 under the name Rosita.
In 2017, Vega signed with WWE and was assigned to their developmental brand NXT. She made her televised debut in NXT in 2018 as the manager of a wrestler named Andrade “Cien” Almas. She also continued to manage Almas on the main roster before branching out to wrestle.
After her return in 2021, she is doing great, though she is not considered among the top class of WWE, however, she once won the King and Queen of the Ring Tournament, and she is currently The Queen of the Ring.
