Becky Lynch has a remarkable career with numerous awards and championships. She is currently WWE SmackDown Women’s champion which she won in 2021 and still have it. She challenged Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 37 and won the title in just 26 seconds, making her a four-time women’s champion and adding another memorable moment to her WrestleMania legacy.
There is an interesting fact about her that she walked as a Champion in every WrestleMania for the last 3 years, in 2021 when she returned from her pregnancy, she became the WWE SmackDown’s Champion, and in 2022 she walked as a WWE Raw Women’s Champ, though she lost the title on the night 1 of the Mania against Bianca Belair. That was Bianca’s first WWE title. And now in 2023, she is the RAW Women’s title possessor.
Becky Lynch’s History
“The Man” has an interesting history at WWE, she signed with WWE in 2013 and made her debut in NXT. She quickly rose through the ranks and became one of the top female wrestlers in the company. In 2015, she was promoted to the main roster and became part of Team PCB, along with Paige and Charlotte Flair.
Later she won her first WWE title in 2016, she won WWE Women’s SmackDown title against Alexa Bliss which she lost after 3 months in a Steel Cage match. But the main breakthrough she got in 2018 after started to call herself “The Man”. In 2018 she became the first Woman in WWE’s history to win both RAW and SmackDown’s Women’s titles altogether. She won it after defeating Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.
Interestingly she never lost those titles, instead due to her pregnancy she had no other choice but to drop her crown. However, she returned briefly at SummerSlam in August 2020 to defend her title against Asuka, but then relinquished the championship and went on maternity leave.
Later made her return in 2021 to become WWE Women’s SmackDown Champion by defeating Bianca Belair in just 26 seconds.
