Yet another exciting night at WWE when Monday Night Raw brings us some of the great matches. In this episode of RAW, WWE showcased a game that fans had been waiting for with utmost eagerness and that match was between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa.
Sikoa and Rhodes weren’t on great terms as Roman’s upcoming WrestleMania matchup had the Universal Title on the line. However, it seems there is more to it than just that.
In previous weekly programs of WWE, whenever The Bloodline came face to face with Rhodes, Sikoa and he got a little tense with each other’s presence. As in the last episode of SmcakDown Live, after Roman and Rhodes had done trash-talking, Sikoa remained in the ring, and as a result, he got struck by Cody Rhodes.
After that Solo Sikoa even wanted a match between him and Rhodes but Roman stopped him finally, his wish is now fulfilled as on this Raw, they came into the ring for a fight. However, Sikoa wasn’t ready for what the American Nightmare had under his sleeves and ultimately, lost the match.
Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa via Pinfall with Cross Rhodes and which marked this was Sikoa’s first pinfall defeat. However, throughout the match, Solo Sikoa got the upper hand but Rhodes was able to convert the match into a win just because of his excellence and his experience. During the match, Sikoa also got little assistance from his fellow match from Bloodline.
The Usos joined this game from ringside and tries to distract Rhodes so could Sikoa gets win over him but that didn’t work very well because as soon as the Usos came, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens joined the party with a brutal banger. Both of the WWE superstars gets attacked by The Usos last week on SmackDown and this was their payback time. Back in the ring, Rhodes delivered a phenomenal Cross Rhodes to win the match.
Now, Cody Rhodes is waiting for WrestleMania’s match where he will be facing the Tribal Chief for his undisputed WWE Universal Title on April 1st and 2nd.
