Fans in attendance went into a frenzy after hearing The American Nightmare speaking in Spanish. While this incident did generate some buzz, Cody Rhodes’ wife Brandi Rhodes took things to another level with her tweet.
Brandi Rhodes revealed that Cody had never talked to her in Spanish before, which meant that the fans in Puerto Rico are special. Her tweet got some hilarious responses from fans as well. Some replied that they accept him in their own heritage, while others praised his ability to “do it all”.

How did Cody Rhodes and his wife meet?
The pair met in 2011 while working in WWE. Brandi was an announcer in WWE, under the ring name Eden, while Cody was in his Stardust persona. The two eventually hit it off and started dating.
The couple made their engagement official in 2012 and got married nearly a year later. After Cody Rhodes left WWE, he moved on to TNA with Brandi. They debuted as a team initially. The two even helped launch All Elite Wrestling in 2019. Cody served as an Executive Vice President while Brandi served as Chief Brand Officer. They later left the company a couple of years later.
Cody returned to WWE and has since been one of the top stars in the company. Brandi on the other hand, is a full-time mother to their daughter, Liberty. The couple welcomed their daughter to the world in 2021.
