WrestleMania 39 is in a week and before that one weekly episode is still to air and that will be Friday Night SmackDown. This will be the last episode before WrestleMania and it has to be something special and worth watching. And to make it special and worthy, WWE announced that there will be Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal just like they do every year.
Andre the Giant was one of the best wrestlers at WWE and this Battle Royal is one of a way to honor a great legend of the company. Since 2014, this Battle Royal was announced by WWE at this time of the year except in 2020, when they had to cancel the match due to that pandemic thing.
This year, WWE announced the Battle Royal to happen at SmackDown which is the last episode before the 39th edition of WrestleMania. In the promotion of Friday Night SmackDown, they announced the match and even released the list of participants. Let’s have a look at them.

They’re pretty much everyone who has nothing much to do at WrestleMania that’s why they are engaged in this match but what’s interesting is that you can find the name of Bobby Lashley here. As we all know Lashley’s match versus Bray Wyatt got canceled due to some health issues Wyatt is dealing with so now WWE promised to put him with someone for the Hollywood Night.
The winner of this Battle Royal will receive a special Andre The Giant trophy. Last year, Moss was the one who was able to grab that award, let’s see who has the potential to be the winner of Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal this year.
